A professional musician as well as a physician, he combined his passion for educating the public about the pitfalls of managed care in its early years with his musical skills, and delighted audiences in more than 40 states with his traveling show of outstanding professional musicians with his band, “Dr. Sam and the Managed Care Blues Band”. Their act, and CDs combine satirical lyrics with great music to make political and educational points.
