Robert H. Rosenfield, LLB, LLM

Robert H. Rosenfield is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the  Los Angeles office. He is a member of the Firm’s Health Department. Robert has more than 30 years of experience in the health law field. He has been identified as one of the most prominent health care attorneys in the United States in a survey conducted by the National Law Journal.  He also has been identified as one of the 100 most influential figures in the rapidly evolving Los Angeles health care market in a survey conducted by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

Robert is responsible for the creation of “participating bond transactions” or “PBT”s. PBTs are gaining acceptance as alternatives to equity joint ventures with physicians for charitable hospitals. Since 1999 Robert has concentrated his practice exclusively on PBTs.  He lectures and writes often on that subject. 

Robert has served as counsel to a wide variety of health care organizations.

Robert is a frequent speaker at programs sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives and other local, regional and state hospital associations.

Robert is admitted to practice in California and New York.
