Howard D. Ellis, M.D. is a board-certified physician with over 20 years of experience in the real estate business. He is the Managing Partner of MedDevelopment, LLC, a real estate company whose focus is healthcare. Dr. Ellis is a nationally recognized leader in cost-effective real estate development, understands the complexities of hospital/physician relationships, and specializes in physician ownership options. He is the Chief Executive Officer of The Ellis Companies, whose subsidiaries include residential and multi-family housing, a property management company, and MedCosmetic, which conducts physician educational seminars throughout the United States, designed to enhance practice revenue. Dr. Ellis and the principals of MedDevelopment are not only directly involved in each real estate project that they undertake, but invest personally in each facility. MedDevelopment has a diverse client list that includes Adventist Healthcare, HCA, Triad Hospitals, Community Health Systems, Intermountain Healthcare, and various independent not-for-profit community hospitals. He also serves on the Board of various charitable foundations and has served twelve years on the Kansas Board of Healing Arts.
