Message from the President and COO

Center Resources

Dear Center Member,

Each year, the Center for Healthcare Governance holds a special CEO/board chair event exclusively for Center members.

I am excited to announce that this year's event, an interactive breakfast discussion, will be held in conjunction with our Winter Symposium, February 15-18, at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix, AZ. The breakfast, "Working with Physicians to Advance Quality and Performance Excellence," will take place Tuesday, February 17, at 7 a.m.

Alice Gosfield, president of Alice Gosfield and Associates, and David Pryor, M.D., chief medical officer for Ascension Health, are scheduled to take part in the discussion and Center Senior Consultant Jamie Orlikoff, president of Orlikoff & Associates, Inc., will moderate.

You recently should have received an invitation for this event with additional details on time and room location and directions on how to register.

I hope you are able to take time out of your busy schedule to join us for this special program, as well as to attend our symposium, "Rethinking Governance: The Shifting Roles of Management and Governance."

Thanks for your continued membership in the Center and for your commitment to exceptional governance.

John R. Combes, M.D.
President & COO
