Are you interested in serving as a hospital or health system trustee?

The American Hospital Association presents the Hospital Trustee Professionalism educational series, developed in partnership with the Center for Healthcare Governance and the Institute for Diversity in Health Management. The program is designed to prepare participants from a diverse range of backgrounds for board service. The curriculum includes examination of the basic principles by which a hospital board operates, including the trustee's role and responsibilities and the board's role in setting strategy and determining policy, as well as the unique challenges faced by health care governing boards.
