Frank Sardone, President & CEO, Bronson Healthcare Group
Frank J. Sardone is President and CEO of Bronson Healthcare Group, Inc. in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Established in 1900, Bronson has a long history of providing high quality medical care to people throughout the nine county Southwest Michigan region. With a workforce of 3900, Bronson is Kalamazoo’s second largest employer. At the center of the Bronson system is Bronson Methodist Hospital, a tertiary medical center with 343 licensed beds providing inpatient and outpatient care from a central location in downtown Kalamazoo.
He joined Bronson in 1988 and assumed his current role in 1996. Also in 1996, Mr. Sardone received the Michigan ACHE Regent’s Young Healthcare Leader Award. He is a member of numerous national, state and local professional organizations, including the ACHE, the Center for Health Design, the Center for Healthcare Governance, and the executive committee and boards of the Michigan Hospital Association and Michigan Hospital Association Insurance Company. Active in his community, Mr. Sardone also serves on the boards of the Greater Kalamazoo United Way, Southwest Michigan First, Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, and Ministry with Community.
Mr. Sardone received both a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1979 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky in 1981.
